Brief description of the project	The aim of the project is to equip the Příbram – Březové Hory Volunteer Fire Brigade unit with personal protective equipment, specifically firefighting suits. This consists of a set comprising firefighting trousers and a jacket bearing the inscription ‘FIREFIGHTERS’. The funds raised will also be used to equip the unit with communication technology – handheld radios. The unit works closely with the Central Bohemian Regional Fire and Rescue Service, Příbram District Office. It is regularly deployed by the Regional Operations and Information Centre to tackle fires, including rescue and fire-extinguishing operations, and has thus become an indispensable part of the integrated rescue system. In 2020, the unit was dispatched to a total of 71 incidents, and in 2021 to 110 incidents. The purchase of the aforementioned personal protective equipment will supplement the unit’s kit and enhance its operational capability.
