Programme	The 2023 Programme for the provision of grants from the Central Bohemian Region’s budget via the Central Bohemian Fund for the Support of Volunteer Fire Brigades and Integrated Rescue System Units.
Brief description of the project	The aim of the project is to provide the Příbram – Březové Hory Volunteer Fire Brigade with additional fire safety equipment. As the unit is designated to respond to road traffic accidents, wheel chocks and a vehicle stabiliser will be purchased. Furthermore, the unit will be equipped with hand-held torches, portable LED floodlights and positioning straps. The unit works closely with the Central Bohemian Regional Fire and Rescue Service, Příbram District Branch. It is regularly dispatched by the Regional Operations and Information Centre to tackle fires, including rescue and fire-extinguishing operations, and has thus become an indispensable part of the integrated rescue system. In 2021, the unit was dispatched to a total of 110 call-outs, and in 2022 to 129 call-outs. The purchase of the aforementioned equipment will supplement the unit’s kit and enhance its operational capability.
