Modernisation of public lighting in the town of Příbram – Phase 4 – Ryneček

This project is co-financed by the European Union under the National Recovery Plan; the grant provider is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The title of the application is “Modernisation of public lighting in the town of Příbram – Phase 4 – Ryneček”, application registration number 2182000477, under Call No. NPO 1/2022 ‘Reconstruction of public lighting’.

Due to the unsatisfactory condition of the existing public lighting, a complete refurbishment was carried out, consisting of the replacement of 766 luminaires.

A total of 766 luminaires were replaced. The level of illumination or brightness on the road complies with the values required by the ČSN EN 13201 standard to within no more than 30 per cent. No part of the luminous flux emitted by a luminaire is directed above the horizontal plane passing through the centre of the luminaire.

Switchboards: The area is supplied by a total of 11 switchboards. Ten of the switchboards in question were replaced. The switchboards were retrofitted with a control system.

Street lighting structures: 21 street lighting columns were replaced.

The complete modernisation has therefore delivered energy savings of 75.14% compared with the situation prior to the refurbishment, whilst also reducing light pollution.
