Application for the lifting of the remaining ban on carrying out activities

Required documents

Proof of identity, a completed application form and an extract from the driver’s record card. 

Basic information

An applicant may submit an application for the lifting of the remainder of a driving ban no earlier than once half of the ban has elapsed, to the public authority that imposed the ban.

Procedure

The written application is registered and, following a check to ensure it is complete, verification of the applicant’s identity and consideration of the case, a decision is issued in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Code; this is either sent to the applicant by post or, by arrangement, collected in person.

Processing time

 Within 30 days; in particularly complex cases, within 60 days.

Who is eligible to submit an application

 A natural person who has been banned from driving motor vehicles by the Transport Authority of the Příbram Municipal Authority.

Remedies

•  Pursuant to Section 83(1) of the Code of Administrative Procedure, an appeal against this decision may be lodged with the Transport Department of the Central Bohemian Regional Authority within 15 days of its delivery. The appeal must be lodged via the Transport Authority of the Příbram Municipal Authority, Driving Licence Department.
